Course Outline:

Facials are fast becoming one of the most requested beauty treatments. Facials can not only provide soothing benefits, they can also be beneficial to the client's skin. Our facial course will teach you how to recognise simple skin conditions and identify different skins types. This knowledge will aid you in advising and treating your clients with the perfect products and routine for each individual skin type.

We also offer you the chance to attend our Luxury Facials Course for an additional fee. This will enable you to offer a complete luxury facial treatment, The course will show you how to use steam on the face to moisten the layers of dry skin on your client, leaving them with smooth, soft and revitalised skin. You will also be shown the application of heated towels and extraction.
As well as being a treatment your clients will love as an extra indulgence! It will enable you to stand out from your competitors and have your clients coming back time after time.

Entry Requirement:

No previous training or experience is required to enrol on our Facial course. To enrol on our Luxury Facial course we will need to see your facial certificate.

Once enrolled on the course we will send you an essential manual within 72 hours, which will detail all the information you need and help you to prepare prior to the day of your course.

What will I receive when I complete the course?

Once you have passed your course, you will receive a ULearn Diploma, which enables you to gain insurance and start offering this treatment to your clients.

Progression:

Our short courses are ideal for anyone looking to start out in the beauty industry, whether that is working around your current job, children or to improve your own skin health. If you are interested in working in a salon, spa or hotel then we would recommend that you complete our NVQ in Beauty or Facial Therapy. Both qualifications are accredited with VTCT. This will involve practical exams, creating a portfolio to showcase your work & knowledge. We will guide and support you throughout your qualification to ensure that you 'USucceed'.
