This is a method of hair removal from the face or body. Electrolysis destroys the hair follicle and blood supply to it. A fine probe is inserted into the follicle, the current is turned on causing a heat reaction, killing the blood supply to the hair. Unwanted hair growth can be caused by medication, hormone levels and medical conditions.
